| I want to talk about something that messes with a lot of people… Beliefs. Not the big, dramatic kind. Just the quiet ones in the back of your head. The ones that say, “I don’t deserve to feel good.” Or, “I always mess things up.” I’ve found that you will always find proof for what you choose to believe. Always. If you believe you’re lazy, you’ll notice every skipped workout. If you believe you’re not strong, you’ll downplay every win. But if you decide to believe you’re capable and deserving of more? You’ll find proof of that too. You weren’t born with these beliefs. They were handed to you. By parents. Teachers. Coaches. Maybe even old friends. Think of it like a laptop. The laptop itself is the hardware, that’s you. The software is the beliefs. And unless you update it, you’ll keep running the same program forever. Even if it sucks. There’s a quote I love: “If you haven’t updated your software, you’re probably running someone else’s.” So if your story right now feels off, don’t believe it. You can go write a new one. 1.
